Outcome

Helped Decent evolve from a governance-only tool into a compliance and operations platform for tokenized assets, enabling DAOs and RWAs to launch and scale with safety and confidence.

Overview

Decent Labs set out to solve one of web3’s biggest problems: how can projects launch tokens and operate transparently without risking “rug pulls” by founders or regulatory enforcement action? The company’s evolution during my time there went from DAO governance tooling to a full compliance and operations platform for tokenized assets.

Key Projects

  1. Deal Builder → End-to-end token launch flow (token type, price, allocations, legal docs, deadlines, KYC).

  2. Revenue Share → Split wallets with % allocations for compliant revenue distribution.

  3. Staking Modal → Intuitive token staking and rewards flow.

  4. Homepage Redesign → Clarified product pillars and user pathways in redesigned dashboard

  5. Proposal Improvements → Clear signer status for multi-sig proposals with shared nonce

Deal Builder (new feature)

Problem

Launching a token is complex, expensive, and time-consuming. Teams have to navigate a range of operational and legal requirements, including token type, pricing, allocations, lockups, and compliance, often without clear guidance on the overall process.

Solution

I designed an end-to-end Deal Builder flow where users could:

  • Select token type and set pricing

  • Upload legal documents and counterparty wallet addresses

  • Define allocations, signing deadlines, and KYC requirements

  • Track signer status and lockup periods

Agreement Creation

Published Agreement

This tool became the backbone of Decent’s token launch platform, bridging legal operations with web3-native interfaces.

Revenue Share (new feature)

Problem

Projects like DRVN DAO, which tokenizes classic cars, needed a dependable system to distribute revenue among multiple parties whenever cars were bought, sold, or rented. Without such a system, payouts often became confusing, inconsistent, and error-prone.

Solution

I designed a revenue-sharing feature that enabled projects to create split wallets with customizable percentage allocations for each recipient. This automated distribution process provided transparency, eliminated manual errors, and gave stakeholders confidence in fair and compliant payouts.

Staking Modal (new feature)

Problem

With the introduction of revenue sharing, users needed a clear and intuitive way to manage tokens and monitor rewards. The existing interface lacked a dedicated space for these actions, creating friction and confusion.

Solution

I designed a global token manager that streamlined token management and reward tracking, along with a staking flow that made locking and unlocking tokens simple and familiar.

Homepage Redesign

Problem

As Decent shifted its product strategy, the existing app homepage no longer communicated the platform’s value proposition or guided users effectively.

Solution

I led a full homepage redesign that showcased Decent’s core product pillars of governance, compliance, and tokenization, creating clearer pathways to help users explore the platform’s full capabilities.

Proposal Improvements

Problem

In multi-sig governance, multiple proposals often shared the same nonce, but the existing design hid this information. As a result, contributors struggled to track signer progress, leading to duplicate proposals, unclear next steps, and unnecessary friction. Through an audit of the design, I identified opportunities to restructure the information hierarchy, remove low-priority details, and modernize the proposal UI.

Solution

I designed an improved proposal system with clear indicators for signer status, nonce numbers, conflicting proposals, and execution state. I also modernized the card layout to highlight contributor names and timestamps. These updates improved transparency and significantly reduced friction, giving DAO contributors a clearer view of governance activity.

Impact

Through these initiatives, I helped Decent evolve from a governance-focused tool into a compliance and operations platform for tokenized assets. My designs made it possible for projects to launch tokens more safely, distribute revenue fairly, and engage in transparent governance, all while staying aligned with regulatory realities.
